Druk Path Trek
Druk Path Trek, one of the most scenic and popular treks in Bhutan, is a relatively a short trek, it takes you to an elevation of 4210m above sea level, making it moderately strenuous. You can walk past few remote lakes, variety of rhododendron and old growth forest and get beautiful views of high mountains and valleys below. The trekking days are normally described for five days but can be easily achieved in four days with a 3 nights camp. Average hiking time per day will be about 6-7 hours. It is done either from Paro to Thimphu or Thimphu to Paro. The ideal time would be in spring when you can see many varieties of flowers and views of the mountains. However fall too is a good time.
